Encampment Registration Open

La Mesa Service Unit is excited to invite your troop to participate in Encampment at Camp Whispering Oaks September 16th-18th.
Registration is now open. The cost is $50 per camper/chaperone. There is a $10 deposit/camper due upon registration.
Food will be provided, but troops will be responsible for preparing their own meals. Troops will need to ensure they have at least one adult volunteer who has completed the Let’s Cookout training and one adult volunteer who is a trained 1st Aider.
Camper Council - Troops must send one Girl Scout to represent their troop in the decision making process as a member of Camper Council. Camper Council will meet once a month on Zoom to make decisions regarding theme, crafts, menus, and programming.
Encampment registration closes on August 15th.
What is encampment?
When 3 or more troops camp together it is called encampment. Each year our La Mesa Service Unit troops create two encampments. This year fall encampment will be at Camp Whispering Oaks - located in Julian. The Spring encampment will be at the GSSD Balboa Cabins.
